Pecan flour is made by grinding fancy pecans.
Pecan flour is light in color and contains more fat than pecan meal. Pecans have more flavonoids, 34 mg/100 g, than any other tree nut. Flavonoids are powerful antioxidant agents. Compared to other nuts, pecans are among the lowest in carbs and highest in dietary fiber per serving.
