Ingredients
8 cups (1920ml) filtered water, divided
8 black tea bags or 4 tbsp (60ml) loose leaf tea
½ cup pure maple syrup
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup fresh mint leaves
Ice for serving
Lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish

Step 1
Bring 4 cups (960ml) (960ml) water to boil in large saucepan.
Step 2
Remove from heat and add tea bags or loose tea. Steep 5-7 minutes.
Step 3
Remove tea bags or strain out loose tea.
Step 4
Stir in maple syrup while tea is still warm to dissolve completely.
Step 5
Add lemon juice and mint leaves.
Step 6
Add remaining 4 cups (960ml) cold water and refrigerate until chilled.
Step 7
Serve over ice with lemon slices and fresh mint.
Step 8
Store up to 5 days refrigerated.
